John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Jeff Foust to discuss the Orbital ATK and Northrop Grumman merger.  Dr. Foust talked about the pros and cons of the merger from the perspective of each company.  We also talked about the focus of one on space and the other on defense and how each wanted more of a presence in the other area.  Another topic was the interest in mergers and acquisitions this deal sparked with Boeing and others.  Jeff said he doubted there would be big mergers and acquisitions because there were not that many big companies available but he thought we would see smaller businesses and even startups being bought out for their technology.  Don't miss this single segment Hotel Mars program.
