John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Haym Benaroya to discuss the lunar return plans using the Gateway (LOP-G).  As you will hear, Dr. Benaroya was not supportive of the Gateway concept, especially early on as we started our return efforts to the Moon.  He said many times during or segment that if we wanted to go back to the surface of the Moon, we should develop a lunar lander and go to the surface of the Moon.  He had numerous reasons for not liking the Gateway which he explained during our single segment Hotel Mars program.  Let us know what you think by posting your comments about the Gateway and the analysis offered by Dr. Benaroya on our blog.
