Guests: Andy Turner and Charles Miller. Andy Turner and Charles Miller were the guests today to discuss their joint team approach to the NASA COTS competition. In addition to the NASA COTS discussion, we also held a special contest for the best call-in question of the program. The prize was an once-in-a-lifetime tour of the High Bay at Space Systems/Loral in order to see how satellites are actually made. Our winner was Marshall Martin of Dallas, TX. Ed Buckbee was the guest for this special Space Show program. We began the interview with Ed updating us as to new developments not included in his recently published book, "The Real Space Cowboys." In response to questions, Ed expanded the definition of a space cowboy to include those that worked behind the scenes to make the early astronaut flights possible. When asked if the Chinese and Russians were also space cowboys, you will be surprised at his answer. Ed described the program Greybeard, Inc.

Charles Chafer, CEO of Space Services, Inc., was the guest for this Space Show program. Mr. Chafer began the interview by discussing the services offered by Space Services, Inc., mainly space burials. He described the services but in addition, we talked about launching and secondary payloads, SpaceX and the Falcon 1 which Space Services is using for their next launch, the difficulty in buying a ride to space as a secondary payload for a space funerals, and more. George Tyson, CEO of Orbital Commerce Project, Inc. (OCP), was the guest for this edition of The Space show. OCP is dedicated to training personnel for the commercial human space flight industry and this is the subject of this show. Mr. Tyson spoke about both the pilot training programs and the payload specialist training programs. He pointed out how he was working with the FAA to establish pilot flight training qualifications and programs similar to what exist now within the FAA and earning a pilots license. Mr.
