Nancy Atkinson

Nancy Atkinson is the editor and writer for Universe Today, a popular space and astronomy new site, and is the author of a book about NASA's robotic space missions, "Incredible Stories From Space: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Missions Changing Our View of the Cosmos."  She has written thousands of articles, writing daily since 2004 about the latest news about space. She was the editor in chief for Space Lifestyle Magazine and also has had articles published on Wired.com, Space.com, NASA’s Astrobiology Magazine, Space Times magazine, and several newspapers in the Midwest. She has been involved with several space-related podcasts, including Astronomy Cast, 365 Days of Astronomy and was the host of the NASA Lunar Science Institute podcast. Nancy is also a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador; she lives in Minnesota.

David started out explaining how he got the idea for the magazine, its purpose and how it is being distributed as well as describing its content. Nancy brought us up to date with the content of the first issue which is already out and available free of charge on their website.
