Kirby Cole

Kirby Cole was born and raised in Clearwater, FL. He has been flying since age 11. Currently he holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating. He is an Aeronautical Science Major with a Space Studies Minor. He is one of the VIP/Demo Pilots for the Suborbital Space Flight Simulator. When not training or conducting demonstrations, his responsibilities include research regarding further commercial spacecraft implementation into the National Airspace System. In addition, the Suborbital Space Flight Simulator (SSFS) will be utilizing a full mission transcript soon. His job is to work on developing the procedures that will be used by each of the mission stations. This transcript will allow research flights to be easily standardized.
