Guests: Dr. Mario Pinheiro; Greg Meholic. Topics:" Advanced propulsion ideas and theories. Greg Meholic was the co-host with me for this special program featuring Dr. Mario Pinheiro from Portugal to talk about his plasma physics and fluidic space time research that may have applications for advanced space propulsion. In our first segment, Greg and Dr. Pinheiro provided us with background information on plasma physics, fluids, space time and Maxwell equations. As you will hear, Dr.

Guest: Greg Meholic. Topics: Tri-Space Model of the Universe, Faster-than-Light Travel, advanced propulsion theories. Greg Meholic returned to The Space Show to discuss the Tri-Space Model of the University and much more. In Segment one, we started out by talking about light. Specifically, luminal space and superluminal space. Our discussion went deeper into understanding space time and out of the box theories supporting the possibility of faster-than-light travel. While this was a technical discussion, I'm sure you can follow it and Greg is available to answer your questions or comments.

Guests: First Hour: Dr. Klaus Dannenberg, John Karas, Jeff Hamstra; Second Hour: Open Lines: Topics: propulsion, breakthrough propulsion, NASA, AIAA, Open Lines, Space Show guests, bone loss, microgravity, acceleration, NASA. The first hour of this two hour program was dedicated to discussing the coming AIAA Joint Propulsion Conference which will be in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center from August 3-5, 2009. For more information about the conference and registration, please visit www.aiaa.org. During Segment 1, our two guests, Dr.

Guest: Pharis E. Williams. Topics: fusion, Superluminal Space Craft, science funding, propulsion. Our guest today was Pharis E. Williams and our subject was out of the box scientific and propulsion theories. We started our discussion with the two papers Pharis delivered at this year's SPESIF conference. The first was "Fusion for Earth and Space." Here, Pharis talked about the potential of fusing deuterium nuclei in helium nuclei to create a different model of fusion.

Broadcast 1020 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Michael Brooks, author of "13 Things That Don't Make Sense: The Most Baffling Scientific Mysteries Of Our Time," was the guest for this Space Show program. We started our discussion with Dr. Brooks regarding the things he talks about in his book, focusing in on dark matter, the placebo effect, the WOW signal, cold fusion, Pioneer 1 & 2, Viking, homeopathy, and free will. Listeners asked many questions about these issues and we explored each of them in some detail.

Broadcast 968 (Special Edition)

Guest : Greg Meholic was the guest for this Space Show program. Greg specializes in advanced space propulsion concepts for interstellar travel. As a member of the AIAA Nuclear and Future Flight Propulsion Technical Committee and as the chair of the Future Flight sessions at the Joint Propulsion Conferences, Mr. Meholic was especially qualified to guide us through some very out-of-the-box and quite advanced propulsion possibilities.

Broadcast 929 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Donald Rapp was the guest for this Friday Space Show program. Dr. Rapp authored two new books, both of which were discussed on this program. During the first three-quarters of the show, we discussed his book, "Human Missions To Mars," and what it will take for humans to go to Mars. For the remaining part of the program, we discussed his book, "Assessing Climate Change," and here we facilitated an important discussion about the science behind climate change and global warming. Some listeners may find this to be a controversial show regarding both topics, so please be advised.

Broadcast 925 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Ethan Siegel was the guest for this Space Show program. Dr. Siegel is an astrophysicist at the University of Arizona and thus was highly qualified for the cosmological discussion which made up most of this program. We began our discussion with good working definitions for both cosmology and astrophysics. As you will hear, Dr. Siegel is a superb teacher and the use of humor weighs in strongly in how he presents his information, including from his website http://startswithabang.com.

The Space Show Deep Space Message for this month was submitted by the Senior Writer at Space.com, Leonard David and his wife Barbara. Here is the text of their message: Hello to out there…from over here. We don’t speak your language, so you may think that this message is more chirp than chatter from our little niche in the Great Universe. But if you do decipher this communiqué, we’re broadcasting from a small planet close to a neighboring star – a world of mostly water that we call Earth. Go figure.
